Conservatoire for Arts and Drama

The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD) is a new higher education institution, founded in 2001. It was established to protect and promote some of the best schools offering vocational training in dance, drama and circus arts. As Joint Principal, we are delighted that CDD has grown from the two founding affiliates to a much bigger family of eight schools and 970 home and EU students whose training ranges from foundation degrees to doctorates. We offer courses in acting, stage management, classical ballet, theatre directing, contemporary dance, lighting, costume and scenic design. Entry to our schools is very competitive but we all seek students who have the talent, skill and determination to succeed regardless of their background.
