Criminology is a contemporary, fast-growing and exciting programme. Students acquire a comprehensive understanding of the extent and nature of crime, criminal behaviour, victimology, Government policy and crime, the Criminal Justice System, and public and media reactions to crime, along with a range of employment related and life skills.

The library has a wide range of texts, journals and case studies in criminology, as well as database and electronic research information. There is also 24-hour access to award-winning computing facilities.
